| A Man Staring At Me… |

I had nothing to do this morning :(. Ila and Intan, my bosom friends, were having their own business, and I felt so bored. Having nothing to do, I decided to hack around. To go somewhere, to Bandung, because nothing looks good here in Jatinangor :x . But before there was an important meeting with pals at BEM to talk about several programs and replace some members.
Fuuuh, finally the uninteresting meeting was finished. I went straightly to have some lunch before going to Bandung.
I had a bus. I just slept along the journey which took about 45 minutes to go. While the bus had its last stop on a station, I had to continue my trip by taking other public transportation for different route.
In the wake of 15 minutes, I arrived at a place, Aquarius Music. After paying Rp. 1000 for the ride, I entered the parking lot. Pushing the front-door, I entered the gallery. The air conditioner pretty comforting. But, I had to find something immediately. Glancing, I found out that someone staring at me. He seemed so familiar. Still, his eyes deeply looking at me from distance, with a little smile.
I relieved to know that he there. I approached to make sure that I wasn’t being in a dream world. Yes, he kept his eyes fixed on me behind the transparent casing with smile that didn’t change. He made me out of breath. It suited me down to the ground.
“Dobar dan, Maksim! So, this is where I reach you. Oh no, why are you keep staring me like this?! I'm just an ordinary veiling girl... Come on, I’ll bring you to get out from here as soon as possible. I can hardly wait to hear you play the ivories. Wow!… once again… Wow! I just can’t believe that finally I got you today!”
Yeaaaah! Hooooraaaay!!! :D :D :D Maksim new album, ‘Variation’ finally released! Wishing to be the first who bought, I grabbed one of the cassetes. I came up to the cashier, and paid for Rp. 23.000. Ila, Intan, I can barely wait to show him to you, galz (^o^)[] !!!
Weariness turned to gladness. Everything became sooo… exciting and beautiful :P. From his cabinet labelled ‘New Release’, we finally went out.
“Unbelieveable that I’m now hanging with one of world’s best pianists” (and I guessed he replied ‘thank you’ &) ).
His music grows by leaps and bounds. And I love to hear “Olympic Dreams” (thrilling intro!), “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” (ups… is it suitable for akhwat to listen 8) ?! I bet Ila will like it because its Japanese rhythm), and “Nocturne in E Flat Major”. While others like “Kolibre”, “Amazonic”, “Leeloos Tune”, that are recent compositions by Tonci Huljic lively diverse the tracks. And old tracks like “Piano Con. No. 1…”, “Totentanz”, “Procession of The Sardar”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”are remade. Thoroughly. Some are kinda piano solos, like “Nocturne” “Pagrag”. I hope these are just teaser, not spoiler :D
For me, ‘Variations’ seems more ‘mature’ than before. And what I gotta do now is to grasp each track which has its own romantic story :wink: . I will bring my walkman everywhere and ignore people around me :P .
No more explanation for the reason that piano piece (which means ‘art’) is to enjoy – not to tell – I’d suggest you to buy Maksim’s Variations!

Aha... everybody must have assumed that i met Maksim... Yes, I did. I met him. I found HIM AS A FIGURE ON THE CASSETE COVER. A FIGURE THAT SMILING ALL THE TIME. WITH DEEP BLUE EYE AND A BEAUTIFUL SMILE. AND I WAS SOOO EXCITED WHEN FINALLY HIS ALBUM SOLD IN AQUARIUS BANDUNG.
So, Mich, I do not mean to make you that shocked :) . Sorry for this inconvenience. But, I swear I will tell you if he's in Bandung to have any vacation.
I'm listening to Nocturne via my Walkman now... :D
